Pressure Sand Filter is the most popular method for removing turbidity from water. These filters consists of different sand layers. These sand layers have variety in size and specific gravity. To remove suspended matter from sewage/effluent water by means of multi size graded sand filled in the vessel, which is natural process of filtration adopted by the nature.
