Venturi Scrubber

Venturi scrubbers are used for the removal of fine particulate from a gas stream. Often these venturi scrubbers have a double function: cooling of the gases, and the removal of particulate.

A venturi scrubber is typically used when a cyclone will not give enough efficiency. Venturi systems are typically used in applications with a particle size of 6 microns and smaller.

Fixed throat venturi systems can be used for applications with constant gas flows. For fluctuating gas flows, variable throat venturi systems are typically supplied.
